Description de produit
6061 Aluminum Alloy Precision Machining Customized Cnc Milling Automotive Parts
Product Description
Precision Machined Custom 6061 Aluminum Alloy CNC Milling Automotive Components are high-performance, lightweight parts engineered for the demanding environment of the automotive industry. Manufactured from premium 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, these components offer an exceptional combination of strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and machinability. Through advanced multi-axis CNC milling, we transform solid aluminum stock into complex, close-tolerance parts such as brackets, mounts, housings, and structural links. The resulting components are not only dimensionally precise and aesthetically clean but also contribute significantly to vehicle weight reduction, performance enhancement, and long-term reliability.
Product Processing
Material Verification & Preparation: Certified 6061-T6 aluminum bar, plate, or billet is selected. Material certifications are verified, and the stock is cut to optimized blank sizes to minimize waste.
Advanced Fixturing & Setup: The workpiece is secured using precision vises, custom fixtures, or vacuum chucks on 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC machining centers. Fixturing strategies account for the high speeds used in aluminum machining and ensure access to all critical features.
High-Efficiency CNC Milling (Core Process): Using optimized CAM programming, the machine performs operations tailored for aluminum:
High-Speed Roughing: Aggressive material removal using adaptive clearing and trochoidal toolpaths to maintain constant chip load and reduce cycle times.
Precision Finishing: Fine finishing passes with sharp tooling to achieve tight tolerances (down to ±0.01mm) and excellent surface finishes (Ra 0.8 µm or better).
Feature Machining: Creating complex 3D contours, pockets, bosses, ribs, threaded holes (via thread milling or tapping), and sealing grooves.
In-Process Probing & Quality Control: On-machine probes verify critical features mid-process, allowing for real-time tool wear compensation and ensuring dimensional accuracy before part completion.
Deburring & Edge Finishing: All edges are meticulously deburred by hand or using automated methods (tumbling, thermal) to ensure safe handling and proper fit.
Surface Treatment & Finishing: A range of automotive-grade finishes can be applied:
Clear or Colored Anodizing (Type II): For corrosion protection and aesthetic finish.
Hard Anodizing (Type III): For wear-resistant surfaces on bearing or sliding areas.
Passivation: For bare aluminum surfaces.
Powder Coating/Painting: For color matching and additional protection.
Final Inspection & Documentation: Each part undergoes final dimensional inspection using CMMs, optical comparators, and gauges. A detailed inspection report and material certification are provided.
Product Applications
Engine Bay Components: Intake manifold flanges, sensor brackets, throttle body adapters, engine mounts, and turbocharger oil line fittings.
Suspension & Chassis: Strut tower braces, control arm brackets, alignment camber plates, lightweight subframe connectors, and differential mounts.
Drivetrain & Transmission: Bellhousing adapters, shifter linkage components, driveshaft yokes, and transfer case brackets.
