Manufacturing Process
  • Material Preparation: Sourcing and cutting certified 304 stainless steel round bar to required blank length, including stress-relieving for long rods to minimize machining distortion
  • CNC Turning (Primary): Machining the entire rod on precision CNC lathes to achieve target outer diameter with consistent straightness using steady rests and follow rests
  • Thread Milling (Preferred Method): Using thread milling cutters on CNC mills or lathes with live tooling for superior accuracy, surface finish, and custom thread forms
  • Secondary Milling Operations: Adding flats, grooves, keyways, cross-holes, or other non-cylindrical features using CNC milling
