This material is selected for applications where "universal" corrosion resistance—to oxidizing and reducing media, pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking—is non-negotiable. Machining this hard, work-hardenable superalloy requires specialized expertise in tooling, cutting parameters, and fixturing to achieve the required dimensional accuracy and surface integrity without inducing excessive stress or micro-cracks. Our process is optimized to produce complex, high-tolerance geometries such as thin-walled enclosures, intricate channels, and precision mounting features.
